Danika Peets is an Australian based film and theatre creative artist. Within her creative pursuits, Danika strives for emotional honesty, vulnerable expression of the human condition, and high contrasting visual imagery. She created a series of photographs for a mental health fine art portrait series. She wanted to create striking and questionable visual representations of various mental disorders and make their symptoms more personable. There is something really powerful about how Danika approached the subject creating images that showed the inner struggles that often go unseen.
